I am a Tennessee based photographer that enjoys capturing scenes, moments, and subjects that are worth remembering or sharing. This may come from following a plan or being at the right place at the right time. Sometimes it requires patience to get the right shot of a difficult to capture subject. Regardless, getting lost in the process of capturing an image is worth it.

When I was young I started taking pictures using an assortment of easy-to-use film cameras. Later I migrated to compact point-and-shoot digital cameras, then an SLR film camera, and eventually a DSLR. My current gear includes a mirrorless full-frame and a camera drone. Even with the advancement and convenience of smart phones and their built-in cameras, there are things dedicated DSLR and mirrorless cameras with quality lenses just do better.

My photography includes nature, landscape, architecture, and still life, though I enjoy other genres too. Images featured on this site were captured locally and during travels across the United States over many years. Select prints are available for purchase.
